Balancing act
“We live our lives balancing precariously on the ever turning wheel of time. Finding balance remains a perpetual challenge not just for individual beings, but the whole of Mankind. For most of us, finding emotional balance or juggling the demands of work and time spent with our loved ones or at play is the task that we are most preoccupied with.
In the greater scheme of things however, the evolution of our civilization and the advancement of our knowledge in the field of science and technology means that finding balance is even more challenging than before – not only must we try harder not to upset the balance of mother nature even as we attempt to unravel her mysteries, the application or abuse of our knowledge could very well mean the difference between ensuring the survival or causing the destruction of our human race.”
